Description
My Old Banger is a game that combines car restoration mechanics with life simulation elements, all set against the backdrop of 1990s Britain. Players will face the challenges of restoring a classic British car while navigating the unique cultural landscape of the era.
Working remotely with another developer and a designer/artist, we're creating an immersive experience that captures both the technical aspects of car restoration and the social nuances of British life in the 90s.
Development & Features
As the producer and lead developer on the title, my role is predominantly focused on the delivery of high-quality systems & features using modern software development methodologies. This entails the cycle of planning a new system, prototyping it, then implementing it from start to finish to work both in a singleplayer and networked setting.
Due to the prospective commercial release of this game, source code cannot be shared but I am more than happy to discuss the direction, features and development process of this game.
